The expansion increases the company’s ability to provide a wider array of supply chain services to customers that move freight through the continent’s busiest trade port with Mexico.

Located less than five miles from the Barbours Cut and Bayport Container Terminals, the facility features 250,000 sq. ft of enclosed space to handle the flow and distribution of cargo.

April 14, 2020 - COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Averitt Express has begun distributing protective face masks to more than 5,000 of its associates. Drivers, dock workers and other frontline associates that handle freight will be provided multiple masks to assist in reducing the potential to contract or spread the novel coronavirus.
