“Over 20 Team” projected to reach 1,390 associates, 17% of Averitt’s total workforce in 2021

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Averitt Express, a Tennessee-based provider of freight transportation and supply chain management, is celebrating its 50^th anniversary in 2021. One way the company is marking its golden anniversary is by celebrating milestones achieved by members of its “Over 20 Team.”

Mastio & Company, an independent research agency that specializes in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry, recently honored Averitt Express for service quality.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Matching a record for its largest-ever contribution, truck drivers and other employees of Averitt Express once again raised $1,000,001 in 2020 that was recently donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. —Averitt Express has expanded its facility in Laredo, TX with the addition of 35,000-sq.-ft of distribution and fulfillment space. The expansion increases the company’s ability to provide a wider array of supply chain services to customers that move freight through the continent’s busiest trade port with Mexico.

Known for its long line of major clothing brands such as Van Heusen, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein, PVH selected Averitt as a recipient of this year’s award as a result of the transportation and logistics provider’s ability to meet and exceed operational goals, including on-time performance.

Averitt Express was recognized as the 2020 St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Employee Giving Partner of the Year as part of the ALSAC/St. Jude Volunteer Awards, which honors corporate partners, individual volunteers and donors from across the country who generously support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude: Finding cures.
